Evaluate the training program
The evaluation is focused on determining whether
an investment in a particular training success or
not. The training effectiveness is usually
determined based on the achievement of the
previously set objectives, methods used, and other
areas of training administration. This evaluation is
important to an organization:
1. To get feedback for continuous development.
2. To justify the financial investment in the
training.
Kirkpatrick identified four questions or levels of
evaluation that need to be addressed:
1. What are the trainees’ responses to the
program?
2. What have the trainees learned?
3. In what way has the behaviour of the trainees
changed after training?
4. How has the organization benefitted from the
training program?
