             To     predict      future     human        resource
             requirements

             To ensure that existing human resources are
             used more efficiently and effectively.
             To  ensure  that  the  appropriate  workforce  is

             accessible whenever it is needed.
             To  ensure  Human  resource  planning  and
             strategic planning should be connected.
             To  determine  whether  there  is  a  human
             resource surplus or shortage.



         Challenges of Human Resource Planning (HRP)



             Inaccuracy
         Human  resource  planning  involves  forecasting
         human  resource  demand  and  supply.  It's  risky  to
         estimate  workforce  requirements  over  time.  It  is

         impossible  to  accurately  track  current  and  future
         trends  such  as  labor  turnover,  seasonal  trends  in
         demand, competitive pressures, and technological

         changes.
