P. 11
Employee compensation is anything an
employee receives in exchange for their labor.
Furthermore, HRM professionals must ensure that
the compensation or remuneration is equivalent
to that of other employees performing similar jobs.
Generally, remuneration is a wage or salary that
includes basic wages, incentives, benefits, and
rewards. HR departments are typically also in
charge of reward systems. This part of human
resource management is important because
organizations reward their employees for past
accomplishments and give incentives for future
excellent performance.
To know either employee's good or not,
performance appraisal will establish. Performance
appraisal is the process of evaluating employee
work performance and progress on both negatives
and positives of their performance. Performance
measurements are important for both the
organization and the individual because they are
the primary data used to determine wage
increases, promotions, and terminations.
