                       Loop i1

                       By applying Kirchhoff Voltage Law (KVL);


                       (2 + j4) i1 – (j4) i2 = + 20<0º  --------------------------- (1)

                       The source 20<0º V is positive because it is in the same direction of i1.




                       Loop i2


                       By applying Kirchhoff Voltage Law (KVL);

                       (– j6 + 8 + j4) i2 – (j4) i1 + (8) i3 = 0


                       (– j4) i1 + (8 – j2) i2 + (8) i3   =   0 ---------------------- (2)




                       Loop i3

                       By applying Kirchhoff Voltage Law (KVL);

                       (10 + 8) i3 + (8) i2 = +10<0º


                       The source 10<0º V is positive because it is in the same direction of i3.
