Loop i1
By applying Kirchhoff Voltage Law (KVL);
(5 + 15 + j20) i1 + (15 + j20) i2 = +10 + 12
(Note: the sources 10V and 12V are positive because it is in the same direction of i1)
(20 + j20) i1 + (15 + j20) i2 = 22 --------------------------- (1)
Loop i2
By applying Kirchhoff Voltage Law (KVL);
(15 + j20 – j10 + 10) i2 + (15 + j20) i1 = +10
(Note: the source 10V is positive because it is in the same direction of i2)
(25 + j10) i2 + (15 + j20) i1 = 10
(15 + j20) i1 + (25 + j10) i2 = 10 --------------------------- (2)
