                                                          Collaboration  in  conservation  and  Improvement  in
                                                          quality  of  the  landscape  &  ecosystem  measured
                                                          through  benchmarking  to  the  Global  Sustainable
                                                          Tourism  Criteria  (GSTC),  UNTWO/UNESCO  and  word
                                                          recognition.


                                                          Sustainable tourism can be described as "the suitable
                                                          balance  between  the  environment,  the  economic
                                                          and  socio  cultural  aspects.  Which  is  established  its
                                                          long term sustainability" (UNEP and WTO, 2005)




                                                          ACTION  TOWARDS  GLOBAL  CERTIFICATION
                                                          OR  RECOGNITION  IN  CONSERVATION  AND
                                                          SUSTAINABLE TOURISM



                                                          1.Encourage  rural  tourism  through  a  rural  tourism
                                                          policy
                                                             Encourage  a  viable,  ongoing,  farming  and  rural
                                                             industry that protects the visual qualities of the land

                                                             form.
                                                             Support  rural  tourism  uses  including  small  scale
                                                             accommodation, roadside, food stalls, vale adding
                                                             to primary production for tourism consumption and
                                                             events  that  not  only  meets  the  planning  controls
                                                             used  to  preserve  the  appeal  of  rural  areas,  but
                                                             improves  environmental  conditions  and  allows  for
                                                             more  sustainable  farming  operations  through
                                                             alternative revenue streams and promotion of rural
                                                             industries.
                                                             Provide  a  "Farming  Zone"  that  allows  for
                                                             diversification  into  rural  tourism,  supported  by  a
                                                             wide range of business support programs.
                                                             Implement  a  pilot  program  to  educate  producers
                                                             about tourism/ undertake educational workshops or
                                                             develop a "how to" guide for farmers interested in
                                                             diversifying into tourism.
