2.6 Constructing Polygon

a. Construct a regular Pentagon

Steps of construction:

i. Draw an AE line.

ii. Divide the AE line into two parts C and F.

iii. From A, draw an angle of 45 degrees, to cut the centre line at 4.
iv. From B, draw an angle 60 degrees, so as to cut the centre line at 6.

v. Then, lines 4 and 6 are divided into 2 sections in 5.
vi. Based on point 5, construct a circle touching the points A and B.

vii. Finally, using the given boundary radius called the line AE, each boundary is
marked to form a pentagon ABCDE.
