2.5 Constructing Square

i. Construct a Square given one side.

CONSTRUCTION

1. Draw line AB.
2. Extend line AB on an extra bit of a D.
3. From B, swing 2 arcs of any distance and create points C and D.
4. Draw angle 90 as we require to construct this square.

5. To finish we just join the points to create our square.

ii. Construct square ABCD which has diagonal 6cm.
