                Assume that Patm= 101.3 kN/m² water flow in pipe and in mercury in manometer a= 1m h=0.4 m. Calculate the
                absolute pressure.

                Solution:

                Datum Line:    Pa = Pb
                         LHL                  RHL
                   Pa = ρga + ρgh + Px      Pb = Patm

                Since, Pa = Pb

                ρga + ρgh + Px = Patm
                Px = 101300 - (1000 x 9.81 x 1) – (9810 x 13.6 x 0.4)

                Px = 38.12 kPa
