• To disable or reset the timer, a negative
RESET
pulse is applied to this pin.

•When this pin is not to be used for reset
purpose, it should be connected to + Vcc

to avoid any possibility of false triggering.

• The function of this terminal is to control the
threshold and trigger levels which is set

internally to be 2/3 Vcc. pin 5

•When this pin is not used, it should be

connected to ground through a 0.01 µF to CONTROL
VOLTAGE
eliminate electrical noise.

•It can be left unconnected if noise is not a

problem.
