              01             Perishability


                                  Service  as  product  time-
                                  limited     means      that     the
                                  service gets perished after a
                                  specific  period.  It  cannot  be
                                  stored for future use.


                                  For  example,  a  flight  ticket
                                  for  15th  October  2021  can
                                  never  be  sold  again  in  the
                                  future.     Empty     seats     are
                                  considered  a  loss  for  that
                                  day.


              02             Intangibility
                                  Service cannot be touched or

                                  held.  They  are  intangible.
                                  Service  is  all  about  the  time
                                  spent  and  the  experience
                                  made.

                                  For  example,  if  we  spend
                                  money  to  buy  a  theme  park
                                  ticket,  we  can  only  feel  the
                                  memorable  experience  in  the
                                  form  of  photographs  and
                                  video  cameras.  Service  is  a
                                  subjective  picture  planted
                                  into the customers’ minds.
