Employment of older workers


             Many  employers  have  a  double  standard  for
         dealing     with    elderly     persons     applying      for

         advertised positions when recruiting. An employer
         has  a  perception  of  elderly  persons  affected  by  a
         stereotype. For example, older adults are typically

         stereotyped  in  either  physical  or  mental  terms,
         which  is  the  effect  of  the  golden  age's  outcome,
         death.
