Figure 6.6 below shows a metal spoon and a wooden spoon of the same mass put into a
heating pot. After half a minute, it is observed that the metal spoon has a greater increase
in temperature compared to the wooden spoon.

Figure 6.7 shows two beakers containing the same volume of water at different
temperatures. The water which is at a higher temperature has a greater quantity of heat
compared with the water which is at a lower temperature.
