WHAT IS DUTY CYCLE ?

The duty cycle is the duration of the output timer in the ON state in a period
of the cycle. Typically, it is expressed in percentages. If the duty cycle is

70%, the timer is ON for 70% in a cycle. Hence, the timer will be in an OFF

state for 30%. Here are several types of output timer in different duty cycles.

Duty cycle 70%:
