                                             6.667
                                         =  3.667 + 4
                                         = 0.869A



                       The current flowing through the 4Ω resistor = 0.869A



                       Example 2

                       Find the current that goes through the 6Ω resistor.
                                     = 3 + 0.67

                                  = 3.667Ω
