2.2 Nutrient: protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamin and mineral
Effects of Fat 55-65
grams/
2000
calories
Fat should contribute for about 25-30% of your total energy
intake. For a 2000-calorie diet, the recommended fat intake is
55-65 gram. Taking in more fat than necessary will result in a
calorie surplus. You will gain weight and raise your chances
of being overweight if you continue to consume more calories
than you burn via physical exercise. Increased body fat can
increase your risk of diabetes, heart disease, high blood
pressure, and certain types of cancer.
