              CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT

           OPERATIONAL, SUPERVISORY,

            AND MANAGEMENT LEVELS IN

             THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY


          There  are  THREE  (3)  levels  of  management  in
          the  hierarchy  of  a  hospitality  organization.
          They are:




          1. Top Management
          2. Middle Management

          3. Operational Management




          Top  Management  is  concerned  with  the
          organization as a whole its mission, vision, and
          long-term strategy.


          The  supervisory  or  middle  level  is  the  worker
          within an organization who holds responsibility
          for overseeing and managing other employees.


          Operational  level  responsibility  is  associated
          with serving as a boatman, as an able boatman
          maintaining control over the performance of all
          tasks  within  that  person’s  designated  area  of
          responsibility  in  accordance  with  proper
          procedures and under the direction of a person
          serving at management level.
