P. 5
Abstract
Many people erroneously believe that marketing
and sales are synonymous. However, sales are only
one aspect of the overall marketing concept, and
understanding the marketing mix is required to grasp
this notion.
The marketing mix is a collection of regulated
and strategic marketing aspects that each company
employs to achieve the desired response in its target
market.
A business can execute marketing operations to
impact demand for its products by utilising the parts
of the marketing mix. Originally, the marketing mix
ingredient was called "4 P", which stood for "Product,
Price, Place, and Product." However, there are four
more Ps in the tourism and hospitality marketing
mix: people, packages, programmes and partnership.
This book comprises all of the previously described
marketing mix aspects.
