Abstract






















                                    Many people erroneously believe that marketing




                              and  sales  are  synonymous.  However,  sales  are  only





                              one  aspect  of  the  overall  marketing  concept,  and




                              understanding the marketing mix is required to grasp




                              this notion.




                                          The  marketing  mix  is  a  collection  of  regulated




                              and  strategic  marketing  aspects  that  each  company




                              employs to achieve the desired response in its target




                              market.




                                     A business can execute marketing operations to




                              impact demand for its products by utilising the parts





                              of the marketing mix. Originally, the marketing mix




                              ingredient was called "4 P", which stood for "Product,




                              Price,  Place,  and  Product."  However,  there  are  four




                              more  Ps  in  the  tourism  and  hospitality  marketing




                              mix: people, packages, programmes and partnership.




                              This  book  comprises  all  of  the  previously  described




                              marketing mix aspects.
