2. Mold
Mold is fungi that grow in the form of
multicellular filaments called hyphae. A
connected of these tubular branching
hyphae has multiple, genetically nuclei
and is considered a single organism
referred to as a colony or in more
technical terms a mycelium.
The contamination with mold is easily
detected because of the presence of
furry hyphae or treadlike structure
which in many instances is colored. They
often contribute a musty odor and flavor
to the food they invade. Mould can be
found at our daily food such as bread,
cheese, citrus fruit, vegetable, frozen
meat and dried food (nuts and spices)
