               3.2     Orthographic Projection



                      Orthographic  projection  is  a  collection  of  2-D  drawing  that  work  together  to  give  an
                      accurate overall representation of an object. Different views of an object are projected

                      on different planes observing perpendicular to the respective reference plane. The best

                      views are selected using Six Principal Views (Figure 3.1) which are most descriptive of
                      object and normally, the longest dimension is chosen as the width (or depth). The most

                      common combination of views is to use are front, top and side view.
