                              Mesh Analysis is a technique to find the currents circulating in a clockwise

                       direction around a loop or mesh in any closed path of a circuit. It is also known as the

                       Loop Analysis or Maxwell’s Loop Method. In Mesh analysis, we apply Kirchhoff

                       Voltage Law (KVL) to find unknown currents.

                       Some concepts to understand when solving problems using Mesh Analysis;

                         The current i1 and the current from supply 10<45° are in the same direction

                         = +10<45°

                         The current i1 and the current from supply 10<45° are in the opposite
                          direction

                         = –10<45°

                         The current i1 and i2 flows in the opposite direction

                         = 5 (i1 – i2) = 5i1 – 5i2

                          The current i1 and i2 flows in the same direction

                         = 5 (i1 + i2) = 5i1 + 5i2
