Editing Command:
Trim
TRIM
Trims objects to meet the edges of other objects.
There are two modes that you can use to trim objects, Quick mode and
Standard mode.
Quick Mode. To trim objects, you can follow these steps:
Select the objects you want to trim one by one.
Alternatively, press and drag to create a freehand selection
path.
Or, click on two empty locations to define a crossing Fence.
Note that all objects will automatically be treated as cutting
edges.
If an object cannot be trimmed, it will be deleted instead.
The Quick mode options include:
Cutting edges: Enables cutting along edges
Crossing: Allows for crossing over existing lines or shapes
Mode: Switches between different editing modes
Project: Applies changes to the entire project
Erase: Deletes selected elements or objects
