TOOLS IN ILLUSTRATOR
Modify tools - shear
The Shear tool lets you slant or skew objects in
any direction.
1 Select an object and click the Shear tool .
2 Drag in any direction to skew the object.
3 The default reference point is the center of the selected
object. To set a different one, click anywhere and drag to
skew.
4 Double-click the Shear tool to open the Shear dialog and
customise the settings like Shear Angle and Axis of the
selected object.
