Text tools - type on a path
The Type on a Path tool lets you enter type that
follows a shape or path. 1 To create horizontal text along a path, select the Type on a
Path tool .
2 To create vertical text along a path, select the Vertical Type
tool or the Vertical Type on a Path tool.
3 Position the pointer on the path and click.
4 Enter your text and then click the Selection tool to select
the type object. Alternatively, Cmd - Click (macOS) or Ctrl ‑
Click (Windows) the text.
