It is situated between the stomach and the large
N intestine, the small intestine. It is also known as the small
bowel, which is a part of the gastrointestinal tract. Length
– 3m – 5m and diameter -2.5-3 cm
In your small intestine, your pancreas & liver contribute
T their own digestive juices for digestive process.
Pancreatic juices break down carbohydrates, fats &
proteins. Bile from gallbladder dissolves fat. Vitamins,
E water & other nutrients move through the walls of your
small intestine into bloodstream. The undigested part
that remains moves on to your large intestine.
