The various rates charged for hotel rooms

PACKAGE RATE

Room rates that include goods and services
in addition to rental of a room are
developed by marketing and sales
departments to lure guests into a hotel
during low sales periods.
A bridal suite package may include
complimentary such as cheese-and-cracker
basket, flowers, and or breakfast.

GOVERNMENT RATE

This rate is normally given to employees of
the government, usually on the basis of a
contract between the government
department and the hotel.
Discounted rate may also be given to

government personnel holding a valid ID to
encourage regular business
