                    The various rates charged for hotel rooms
              RACK RATE



              The  highest  room  rate  charged  by  a  hotel,
              such as a walk-in who requests a room for the
              night.
              It  is  the  hotel’s  normal  room  rate,  which
              means  a  standard  rate  for  the  room,  with  no
              meals, discounts, or reduction.

             AIRLINE RATE



              Room  rate  established  between  hotel  and
              specific airlines for their crew members.
              A special negotiated rate for airline crews.
              Applicable for airline staff ONLY.



              CORPORATE RATE



              Room rates offered to business people staying
              in the hotel.
              This category can be further broken down into
              business  people  who  are  frequent  guests  (a
              specified  number  of  visits  per  week  or  per
              month)  and       r guests  who  are  employees  of  a
              corporation that has contracted for a rate that
              reflects all business from that corporation.
