Interpretive devices mediate between the visitor and the
site and can be used in any natural, cultural or built
heritage setting. They range in style from unstructured
immersive experiences to constructed, programmed
interventions and variously described as hot and cold
media or social, cognitive and spatial interactive
approaches.
