Foodborne illness is a diseases caused
by the consumption of contaminated
food. A Foodborne diseases outbreak
is defined as an incident with two or
more people experience a similar
illness after eating a common food.
The leading factors that contribute to
foodborne illness are temperature
abuse, poor hygiene practices and
cross contamination.
