iii. Lettering and number

There are two methods used in making letters and numbers namely the vertical method and
the inclined method.

Vertical method Inclined method

Standard vertical letters are written at an angle of 90 on the guideline.

Standard inclined letters are written according to an italics range between 60 - 75 on the
guidelines. Each letter is written with uniform size, height, width and line thickness.
