IN THERMOFLUIDS
Thermofluid flow processes encompass
the case where fluid flow and heat transfer
have been simultaneously involved. The
fundamental chapter related to fluid
mechanics dealt with the principles of
conservation of mass and momentum,
turbulence for the case of fluids in motion.
1.0 Fundamentals Concept of Fluids and Thermodynamics
1.1 Thermodynamics and Fluid
The First Law of Thermodynamics says that energy is conserved. This is directly related to
everything you see in fluid dynamics. In fluid flow, for example, it’s common to adopt what is called an
“entropy-fix”, which is basically a way to insert some numerical diffusion to your problem, which can avoid
non-physical solutions and instability. Based on Fig. 1 below thermal science relation can be described
