Sampling
The function of sampling circuit is to periodically
sample the continually changing analog input voltage
and convert those samples to a series of constant
amplitude pulses.
The resulting signal will be a series of samples or
pulses that vary in amplitude according to the
variation of analog signal.
The process is referred to as pulse amplitude
modulation (PAM).
