TIME RESPONSE

            TRANSIENT RESPONSE

            Definition:

❑ The output variation during the time, it takes to achieve

its final value is called as transient response. The time

required to achieve the final value is called transient

                   period.

❑ Mathematical expression for stable operating systems

                                                  lim =

                                                    →∞

            STEADY STATE RESPONSE

            Definition:

❑ It is the part of the time response which remains after a

complete transient response vanishes from the system

                   output.
