ACTUATOR
An operating section or actuator is the last section in the basic block
of a pneumatic system. It is used to transform the potential energy to
the compressed air to into mechanical work. An automatic opener on
supermarket doors, solenoid operated power door locks and fill valves
on washing machines are examples of actuator operating. A
pneumatic actuator has two types which are:
