3/2-WAY VALVES OPERATION
When the push button is
pressed, the pressured port
and the outlet port are then
connected, so air compressed
will flow from port 1(P) to 2(A).
When the push button is
released, the spring causes the
valve to be in normal position
where an outlet and an exhaust
port are connected, the
compressed air will flow back
from port 2(A) to 3(R).
A common application for a 3/2-way valve is to control a
single acting cylinder.
