ULTRASONIC
(OPERATION / APPLICATION)
Ultrasonic waves are electromagnetic waves that can
propagate through a wide variety of mediums such as
liquid, solid or gas.
In measurement applications, this transducer can be
used for measuring wind speed and direction
(anemometer), fullness of a tank and speed through
air or water.
Further applications include humidifiers, sonar,
medical ultrasonography, burglar alarms and non-
destructive testing.
