TEMPERATURE TRANSDUCER
A Temperature Transducer is a device that transforms
thermal energy into physical quantities including
mechanical energy, pressure and electrical impulses,
among other things.
Temperature transducers are devices that change an
input of energy into a temperature reading.
Transmitters/sensors are composed of transducers,
and the terms are frequently used interchangeably.
