Team's Experience
Race and Chase provides a considerable advantage for
the players as they are exposed to various opportunities
to speak and interact well in English. Players are driven
by the need to use English as the only medium of
interaction. The game is facilitated by appointed
facilitators to ensure that the players are using English
throughout the game.
The players are comprised of different proficiency
abilities; proficient and less proficient players. Thus
facilitators need to cater the needs of both groups of
students, and ensure that the players are treated equally
and given opportunity to attempt the task.
It was wonderful as we are given the chance to foster a
close bond between the team members involved. We get
to share our visions and common values as a team. In
addition, knowing that everyone possesses unique traits,
our team has strived to adapt the collaborative work to
the needs of the individuals. Every individual has his
own learning styles, speed and attitude. More
importantly, every learner should be given the
opportunity to develop correct English usage.
