The Method
1. Assign the participants into groups of FOUR
2. Get the players to name their groups.
3. Assign each group to a desk. (refer to Proposed Room
Layout)
4. Supply each group with an envelope of game items.
5. Project the lists – one at a time.
6. Ring the bell to unveil the identified word, and one person
from any of the groups is allowed to do so. (Remember: Every
identified word must be justified before it can be accepted by the
facilitators)
7. Award one spaghetti strand for every correct answer; with
logical justification. (Maximum number of spaghetti strand
awarded is 10 only.)
8. In 20 minutes, each group is to build a tower using the
spaghetti strand as well as the one metre masking tape.
(Note: The spaghetti strands SHOULD NOT be pasted
on the desks.)
9. For the testing session, provide one big marshmallow to
each group.
10. Place the marshmallow on top of the
spaghetti-strand tower.
Note:
1. This game requires the player to run to ring the bell. To avoid any
injuries, especially for female players with heels, it is advisable
for them to take off the heels.
2. Playing this game can be loud at some point, thus facilitators need
to ensure the situation is under control.
