Amirul Haniff Abdullah
“My experiences at Politeknik Johor Bahru definitely helped providing a foundation for my
current position as a competent CSWIP Welding Quality Control Coordinator at the Welding
Institute (TWI), Middle East, Dubai UAE,” said Amirul Haniff Abdullah. He is a Mechanical
Engineering Diploma graduate specialization in Material (2001-2004).
Five years after graduation, Amirul has developed his career in Oil and Gas industry with
competency as CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector, Oil & Gas Safety Passport (OGSP) Level 2, Basic
Offshore Safety Induction and Travel Safely by Boat (OPITO approved Code 5707), PCN
Radiography Interpreter Level 2 and CSWIP Welding Quality Control Coordinator.
From 2004-2016, he remains associating and involving in Oil & Gas, Refineries and Chemical
Plant projects across different regions in Malaysia, Singapore, USA, Jamaica, Thailand, Egypt, UAE,
Russia, Australia, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Doha Qatar and Holland. The work scope is to supply,
fabricate and deliver the steel structure in accordance to AWS D1.1 Code and standard. In 2015,
Amirul Haniff started his own consultancy firm, namely Ideal Skill Resources.
