KAIKOURA
The lovely coastal community of
Kaikoura will appeal to birders,
wildlife enthusiasts, and seafood
lovers. Kaikoura, nestled between
the Seaward Kaikoura Range and
the Pacific Ocean, is known for its
fantastic coastal treks and popular
whale-watching cruises.
Passengers may see fur seals,
dolphins, and a variety of birds,
including the beautiful albatross, in
addition to sperm whales and
humpback whales.
WAITOMO
GLOWWORM CAVES
Thousands of glowworms
illuminate the cave organically. It's World Heritage Site, protects some of
famous for having a colony of
Arachnocampa luminosa, a
glowworm that's only found in New
Zealand. Visitors can take a boat
ride inside the caves to discover
more about the science and
history underlying the
phenomenon. The Ruakuri Cave,
Lucky Strike Cave, and Tumutumu
Cave are all part of the Waitomo
Streamway System.

LAKE TAUPO MOUNT COOK
Tongariro National Park is located on
the shores of Lake Taupo, New
Zealand's largest lake. Tongariro
National Park is one of the world's
oldest national parks, including
towering volcanoes, turquoise lakes,
desert plateaus, alpine meadows, and
hot springs. Camping, hiking, and
wandering on the park's varied paths,
as well as visiting the park's intriguing planning activities like scenic flights,
visitor centre, are all enjoyable
activities.
FIORDLAND
NATIONAL PARK

Glaciers carved the famous fjords of

Mount Cook also known as Aoraki
National Park, is home to New
Zealand's tallest mountain peak, as
well as the world's longest glacier,
the Tasman Glacier. With over 300
types of alpine plants and 40 species
of birds, nature lovers will appreciate
the diversity of flora and animals.
Mount Cook Village is an excellent
place to start exploring the park and
ski touring, heli-skiing, hunting,
hiking, and stargazing.
BAY OF ISLANDS
The Bay of Islands is one of the
country's most popular vacation
spots. The dazzling bay is dotted
with more than 144 islands, making
it a sailing and yachting paradise.
These lush seas are home to
penguins, dolphins, whales, and
marlin, and the area is a favourite
sport-fishing destination. Sea
kayaking along the coast, hiking the
many island routes, relaxing in
isolated coves, and exploring
subtropical woods with Kauri trees
are all options for visitors.
