Verb to-be






    To describe a process, the verbs used are usually

    in the passive form. This is because we are more

    interested in the action (process) rather than the

    agent (person). As the process involved can be
    carried out anywhere at any time at any time, the

    present passive is often used.






     passive verb in present: 'is/are' + past participle
