As stated earlier, we can use imperatives to give


 instructions. It will begin each step with an active verb

  in IMPERATIVE mood. We need to use imperatives at


                    the beginning of the step.












   There are 2 rules when we want to come up with an

                                instruction:


   1. The imperatives at the beginning of each step.


   2. The imperatives should be in Present Tense.

   1. Adjust the cutter grinder machine to the setting that is

     right for the miller cutter.

   2. Loop the scarf around your neck twice, with one end

     shorter than the other.

   3. Check the floor of the trench is horizontal by using a

     plumb and level.
