Penetrants
1. Fluorescent (Type I)
Type I fluorescent penetrant utilizes penetrants
that are usually green in color and fluoresce
brilliantly under ultraviolet light. The sensitivity of a
fluorescent penetrant depends on its ability to form
indications that appear as small sources of light in
an otherwise dark area.
