Definition of non-destructive testing (NDT)
Non-destructive testing is the testing of
materials, for surface/ internal flaws/
metallurgical conditions, without interfering in
any way with the integrity of the material/ its
suitability for service in future.
A method to examine an object/ material without
damaging/ destroying the tested object/ material.
