SYNOPSIS
NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT)
enable the student to learn technics
of conducting non-destructive
testings on material, the concept and 1 2 3
technic of detecting flaw or to
discover material characteristics using
non-destructive testing (NDT)
technics. It will also emphasise on the 4 5 6
aspect of selecting the test method,
the advantage and the disadvantage
as well as the importance of the tests.
Students are introduced to five main
NDT (Liquid penetrant inspection, 7 8 9
Magnetic particle inspection, Eddy
current methods, Ultrasonic testing &
Radiography).
