TERMINOLOGIES OF CONTROL

                                               SYSTEM

                Controller output

It is an applied signal or an excitation signal applied to

control system from an external energy source in order to

                produce a specified output.

                Disturbance

A disturbance is a signal that tends to affect the value of

the output of a system. If a disturbance is created inside

the system, it is called internal. While an external

disturbance is generated outside the system.

                Feedback Element

That portion of the output of a system that is returned to

modify the input and thus serve as a performance monitor

                for the system.

Feedback is an arrangement by which the actual output of

a system is fed back to the input end for comparison with

                the desired output.
