REGULATOR

               A regulator is a pneumatic device that monitors the pressure level of

               the air sent to downstream components. A regulator reduces the high


               pressure from the tank and lowers it to a more manageable pressure.


               Regulator’s work "on demand," meaning that instead of a constant

               stream, they release pressurized air from the tank only when there is


               a drop in pressure in another part of the system. Air pressured is too


               low is uneconomical because it results in poor efficiency.
