AIR CONDITIONING SECTION

Air conditioning section or air service unit is a combination filter-

regulator-lubricator and called a FRL. FRL’s is a device that conditions

the compressed air to provide clean air at optimal pressure and

occasionally adds lubricant to extend the life of those pneumatic

system components which need lubrication.

The correct combination, size and type of these elements are

determined by the application and the control system demand. An air

service unit is fitted at each control system in the network to ensure

the quality of air for each individual task.
