b. The advantages of pneumatic system are:

                            ADVANTAGES:
 It has several operation modes; can be fully automated,

                                   manually operated, and semi-automated mode.
 It is clean, suitable for several processes which are very

sensitive, especially for hazardous chemicals and electronic
                                   components.

 The equipment is very cheap compared to other methods.
 The accuracy of the end results is moderate.

 Reduce production time and cost – mass production.
 There is no other waste produced from the operating system

                                   except air.
 Compressor is relatively insensitive to temperature

fluctuation. This ensures reliable operation, even under
extreme condition (depend on protection material).

                    c. The Diagram B2(c) illustrates a valve in operating condition. The

symbol of valve operand, and the operation is:

                                                    3/2-way valve – push button

 The diagram shows a three-way two-position DCV with push
                                   button actuation.

 In the actuated position in which the push button is pressed,
as shown in Position 1, the valve from Air In sends pressure

to the outlet and blocks the exhaust port in the normal
                                   position.
 In the normal position in which the push button is released,

as shown in Position 2, the pressure port Air In is blocked and
the outlet send the pressure to the exhaust port vented to

                                   the tank.
